毕业的荣誉

• You are eligible to wear honor cords at 的 毕业典礼 for your degree if you have completed at least 24 credit hours at NWACC and have an overall GPA of 3.5 or 更高的.

  • To graduate Magna Cum Laude, you must have an overall GPA of 3.5或以上.
  • To graduate Summa Cum Laude, you must have an overall GPA of 4.0.
  • If you are graduating with certificates, you are not eligible to wear honor cords 为了毕业典礼.

• You must apply 为毕业 to participate in 的 ceremony.  
• You must indicate that you plan to attend 的 commencement ceremony on your graduation application to participate in 的 ceremony.
• Even if you do not plan to participate in 的 graduation ceremony, you must complete a 毕业申请 拿到你的文凭.
• 毕业申请是免费的.

• The spring 毕业申请 deadline to be listed in 的 ceremony 程序 is 3月1日.
  • Failure to apply by 的 deadline may result in your name not appearing in 的 graduation 程序.
  • If you miss 的 deadline, you may still fill out 的 毕业申请 and once you complete all requirements, 你的文凭 will be mailed accordingly.

文凭

• You do not have to attend 的 毕业典礼 to receive 你的文凭.
• If you have completed all degree or certificate requirements, you can expect to receive 你的文凭 in 的 mail 8-10 weeks after 的 end of 的 term for which you applied 为毕业.
• 文凭 are mailed to 的 address listed on 的 毕业申请 or if no address is provided, diplomas will be mailed to 的 mailing address attached 以你的名义.
• 文凭 are not mailed to those who have outstanding financial holds.

Complete 的 NWACC graduation checklist if you meet ei的r of 的 following criteria:

• You completed a degree or certificate in 的 Fall and want to participate in 的 Spring 毕业典礼.
• You are planning to complete a degree or certificate in 的 Spring or Summer.

重要日期:

  • Ask club advisors of any student organization that you participate in if you need to order any type of honors cord or stole to wear at 的 毕业典礼.

  • Make sure you don’t have any unreturned items or unpaid fines
• 联系财务主管办公室
  • Ask if you owe NWACC any money and pay any outstanding debts. 文凭和成绩单 will not be sent if all financial obligations to NWACC are not met.
